While restaurants are starting to open their doors, event caterers have a longer recovery time until the public can feel safe gathering together again. #TogetherTampaBay has partnered with Catering By The Family (CBTF), which has a 44-year history of serving Tampa Bay and employed over 100 full-time and part-time staff to supply meals to the Memorial Hospital of Tampa.
CBTF owner Steve Gonzalez Sr. said, “With so much negativity and fear caused by the coronavirus, we wanted to do something positive. We have donated free meals to people in need, and we regularly make food deliveries to hospitals and first responders. We feel it’s important for us to give back to the community that has supported us all these years!”
Tampa Bay Influencers has created the campaign #TogetherTampaBay, which raises money for local restaurants and caterers who use that money to feed Tampa Bay hospital workers, first responders, and nonprofits.
Even it’s just $5, your donation will help provide a meal for one of the heroes who’s saving our community and help local businesses employed.
Stay healthy and thank you for your continued support!
